Advancing global climate goals: Strengthening commitments and action at COP29
The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNCCC) is currently underway in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11-22 November 2024.
CGIAR is hosting a Food and Agriculture Pavilion at COP29 in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The 16th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2-13 December 2024.
The UNCCD COP16 will be a landmark event to raise global ambition and accelerate action on land and drought resilience through a people-centered approach.
